Described as "the most well-rounded business process management system (BPMS) tested to date," this software integrates an execution and events monitoring engine with a tightly-knit IDE and the tools for simulation analysis and modeling. One of the most excellent features of this technology is the simulation facility, which is imbedded directly in the IDE. This allows the user to test multiple "what-if scenarios."

The setup has a well-integrated performance server, which draws on a united tracking data store for both real-time process optimization and historical playback in design-phase analysis (where testing for optimal flow and efficiency can be challenging).

	Pros: Lombardi Teamworks 6 Enterprise received an InfoWorld Technology of the Year award, the company has done an exceptional job building its Eclipse-based IDE, perspectives for process and service modeling, as well as validation, debugging, and optimization, will allow developers to quickly and easily find their footing.
	Cons: its runtime engine is proprietary (which means you have to learn that engine), business rule development tools not quite as easy to use as those of Appian.
