Sands Wild Water, Northern Lights Expeditions, Up the Creek Xpeditions, PowderQuest, Tag-a-Long Expeditions, Teton Mountain Bike Tours, Adventure Associates, Kodi Rafting, Dinosaur Expeditions, Venture Outdoors, A Day Away Kayak Tours, American Adventure Expeditions, Wildwater River Tours, and Vagabond Gourmet are all new Adventure Central customers.

The new customers reinforce a series of recent successes at Adventure Central. In addition to naming several industry thought leaders to its board, Adventure Central recently raised $3.5 million in venture capital funding. Adventure Central now has more than 50 customers, which represents year-over-year growth of more than 100 percent. Customer transactions via Adventure Central’s platform are on a pace in 2007 to more than triple 2006 transactions.

Key among the benefits Adventure Central’s solution delivers to its tour operator customers is new customer growth. Operators experience appreciable growth due to the ability of offering online bookings capabilities for the first time. Bookings increase an average of 8 to 10 percent, a figure that reinforces the growing trend of adventure travelers’ desire for the convenience of booking adventure and experiential travel online.
